Four Year Strong’s tour stop at Brooklyn Bowl in Philadelphia was a high-energy celebration of diverse music styles, marking one of the final dates of their USA tour. The evening featured an impressive lineup of supporting acts that set the tone for a memorable night.
The show began with Death Lens, whose hardcore sound immediately ignited the crowd. Known for their politically charged lyrics addressing social injustice, the band’s raw energy resonated with the audience. Fans matched the band’s intensity, singing along word-for-word, creating a dynamic atmosphere that set the bar high for the night.
Next up was Pennsylvania’s own One Step Closer, who carried the momentum forward with their brand of melodic hardcore. Performing songs from their acclaimed albums This Place You Know and All You Embrace, as well as EPs like From Me to You and Songs for the Willow, the band captivated the hometown crowd. Their emotional yet aggressive delivery ensured they remained a standout moment of the evening.
Free Throw followed, offering a shift in tone with their emo-inspired sound. Hailing from Tennessee and boasting a steady lineup since their formation in 2013, the band showcased tracks from across their catalog, seamlessly blending raw emotion with catchy melodies. Though less hardcore than the earlier acts, their heartfelt performance connected deeply with the crowd and added a new layer to the night.
Finally, Four Year Strong stormed the stage, delivering a masterful set that demonstrated why they remain pop-punk heavyweights. From the first note, the band commanded the audience’s attention, encouraging sing-alongs and crowd participation throughout their performance. They drew from a rich discography, including fan favorites and tracks from Analysis Paralysis. The energy was electric as the band closed out the night, leaving fans buzzing with excitement.
