The show at The Met in Philadelphia was an unforgettable night, featuring a lineup that showcased both rising and established talent. Taylor Acorn, a PA native, kicked off the evening with an engaging set from her latest album Survival In Motion, blending emotional depth with catchy melodies. Her energy set a great tone for the night.
Next up was Boys Like Girls, while coming out with a cigarette, brought a cool, retro vibe to the stage reminded everyone why they are still relevant to this day as they were back in 2005. They captivated the audience with tracks from their new album Sunday at Foxwoods alongside fan favorites such as “Love Drunk,” “The Great Escape,” “Five Minutes To Midnight,” and many others. Their performance was a nostalgic trip, keeping the crowd on their feet .
Finally, Dashboard Confessional closed out the night with a powerful and intimate performance. Chris Carrabba’s acoustic sound and heartfelt lyrics resonated deeply with the audience. DC opened up with an early hit "The Best Deceptions," which took fans on a nostalgic journey. From their early beginnings to their current work, Dashboard Confessional reminded everyone why they’ve remained a staple in the emo and acoustic rock scenes. Overall, it was a night filled with emotional highs and unforgettable music.
